Maybe you trust only your eyes.
But eyes lie.
Eyes see, but they don't get.

They see me in silence. But they can't see me crying inside.
They see me smiling. But they can't see how happy I am inside.
They see me not trying, they see me not caring. But they can't see my anxiety. They can't see how big my willing is to get the smile and the sparks back into you. They can't see how much I want to make you happy.
They see my face. But they don't see my heart.

And unfortunately, you trust what you see.

I'm imperfect. But this is how I am.
One thing I know for sure, and one thing you failed to understand recently, is I love you.
Because my heart knows, and your eyes don't.
